In 2002 a player signed for Pot Black F.C. who nobody knew would later become a legend. Darryl 'Fossil' Baldry who retired from football at the end of the championship winning season of 2005/06 after playing 93games, 13goals, 1 league title, and 1 Clubman of the year award.
Although it was not always roses during his Pot Black career, during a tight cup clash Vs Ellingham, Fos our 1st choice penalty taker stepped up only to place the ball comfortably onto the A12. Since this shocking moment things have gone from bad to worse over the years as our bunch of penalty clowns, skied, scuff, and slice penalty after penalty.
But here at Pot Black we embrace our villians and make them heroes, and they are...

Daniel, if I may, I do believe Mr Adam Bird needs to be added to this as he missed a pen against Fleet Solutions a couple of weeks back on Sunday!
A very fair comment unfortunatly as Fos never represented the Sunday side, he's is safe for now, but I have full faith that his time will come!
